Carol Rae Redlinger

Carol Rae Redlinger, 61, who was born on January 11, 1955 in Denver, Colorado, passed away on August 12, 2016 in Waukee, Iowa surrounded by her loving family. For over 35 years, Carol was a bookkeeper for the Davis Brown Law Firm in Des Moines, IA. Carol enjoyed volunteering at her church, crossword puzzles, eating Hot Tomales and relaxing on Sundays. She loved and cherished her family more then anything. She always stayed busy and on the go with her family's activities and never missed any of her grandchildren's soccer games or gymnastics meets. Carol is survived by her children Lindsay (Wade) Harris and Michael (Whitney) Redlinger; grandchildren Payton, Oliver, London, Teegan, Briton and Cooper; mother Sue Raibikis; siblings Hank (Holly) Raibikis, Victor (Susan) Raibikis, Rose (Mike) Stoy and Sandra (Jerry) Smith and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Frank Raibikis.Visitation will be held Monday, August 15, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m., at Ernst Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., at Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines. The service will be casual, as Carol liked being comfy. Private Interment at the Waukee Cemetery.
