Christopher Wayne Morrow

Christopher Wayne Morrow, affectionately known as Chris, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Born on August 5, 1974, in Fort Wayne, Indiana,

Chris held a special place in his heart for all things related to Star Wars, a beloved interest that brought him joy and connection throughout his life. His enthusiasm for this iconic saga reflected his imaginative spirit and his ability to find wonder in stories and worlds beyond the everyday.

He was a devoted son, brother, and friend. Chris is survived by his mother, Brenda J. Bowers of Adel, Iowa; his brother, Bruce I. Morrow and wife Callie of Carthage, New York; and his sister, Amanda C. Morrow of Des Moines, Iowa. His father, George I. Morrow, preceded him in death.

Beyond his family ties, Chris’s final act was one of profound generosity. As an organ donor, he selflessly gave the gift of life to others. Through the Iowa Donor Network, his decision to donate has brought hope and healing to many individuals and families, leaving a lasting legacy that exemplifies his compassionate nature.

No services will be held.  Cremation rites have taken place.
