Darrell Ralph Porter

Darrell Ralph Porter, who was born to Ralph and Neva (Ruch) Porter on May 19, 1934 in Albany, MO, passed away on September 4, 2016 in Altoona, IA. Darrell spent his working career as a Movie Projectionist. He was also an avid watch repairman. He enjoyed going for walks, John Wayne movies and attending his grandchildren's many activities and events. Darrell is survived by his children Kimberly (Glenn) Wemer of Van Meter, IA, Kevin (Kimberly) Porter of Dexter, IA and Jeremy (Rachel) Porter of Urbandale, IA; grandchildren Jason Porter, Colby Wemer, Zach Wemer and Harrison, Henry and Hazel Porter; and brother William Porter of Topeka, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Sandra Bolar. Interment services will be private at the Waukee Cemetery.
