Robert Zdenek Borysek, age 88, of Central Iowa, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023 in State Center, Iowa.

Robert was born August 15, 1935 in Horni Nemci, Czechoslovakia to Jan and Ana (Cechova) Borysek. He is survived by his daughters Monica Sims Borysek of Reno, NV and Michelle Borysek of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Joseph Borysek.

Robert will be laid to rest at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel, Iowa. Private family graveside military services will be held.

Ernst Funeral & Cremation Services of Waukee has been entrusted with Robert's final arrangements.
