William "Bill" Brian Vaughn

William “Bill” Brian Vaughn (65) was born on September 19, 1957 to George August and Daryel Elizabeth (Williams) Vaughn in Westchester, Pennsylvania.  He proudly served in the United States Air Force before being honorably discharged.  He worked for years in the trucking industry at various companies traveling the country before taking work closer to home in upstate New York.  He retired to Iowa in 2022 to spend more time with his daughter and grandchildren.  William enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

William is survived by his son William “Bill” Karl (Rena Drew) Vaughn of New York; daughter Heather Marie (Justin) McGraw of Waukee, Iowa; siblings David Vaughn of Alaska, John (Bonnie) Vaughn of Florida, Ginger Gallagher of West Virginia, Diane Fields of New York, Ruth Dietrich of South Carolina, Kathy (Glenn) Williams of South Carolina and Ben (Crystal) Vaughn of South Carolina; beloved granddaughters Chryslin, Kenzlee, Charlott, Kayanna, Camerin and Bethanie along with countless other valued family members and friends, which he considered family as well.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Georgia Ann Vaughn. 

Williams was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son and friend who will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date.
